Matthew Metz has been practicing law since 1991. In 2001, he founded Metz Law Group, PLLC in Seattle, where he has focused his practice on the litigation of personal injury, wage claim, and breach of contract cases.
Matthew represents businesses and individuals from all around the world. Through genuine sensitivity for the client’s needs, zealous advocacy, and innovative thinking he strives to vindicate their rights and achieve victories in court and in settlements.
He is licensed to practice as an attorney in Washington State and California and has appeared before numerous State and Federal Courts in Washington, California, and New York, including the Second and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Matthew graduated from the University of Chicago and the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law.
Matthew has a special interest in multicultural communities and has represented citizens and companies from many countries in Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
He is fluent in Spanish and has working knowledge of French. He is currently President of the United Nations Association, Seattle Chapter. Matthew has special interest in climate change, the environment, philanthropy and community development projects. He worked in Mexico for a year helping small farmers obtain financing to improve their economic prospects.
Matthew is married to Luz Metz and is the father of three children.
